Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. The most recognizable role she has played is as anchorwoman on CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously co-anchoring CNN morning programs New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part of CNN's award-winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 as well as 2016. Her prior experience included working as an Washington DC based correspondent, who covered both the US House and Senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she covered the congressional cycle and events such as the debates to increase the federal credit limit or the deliberations of the super committee. Additionally, she was an assignment reporter covering general stories such as an attack on the federal government's Christmas Day bombing attempt the significant Supreme Court decision on Obamacare and the implementation of Obamacare's government's stimulus plan in 2009. She joined CNN in 2007 as a national reporter with CNN Newsource.
