Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multicultural family. Born within South London. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as her mom is English. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council south of London. In the ages of 14, she attended The Brit School. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was obtained. While attending the academy, she performed in numerous stage productions such as King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Since then Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors. Madekwe's first film role was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha on The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared in six episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. She played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also played the main character on How to lose friends & betray people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment the year 2008. Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe had her official US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes for The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast to play Ashley Davenport. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to quit the show following her appearance on the premiere episode from the 3rd season. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've collaborated in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also had a role alongside her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey throughout the winter and summer months. Her childhood was spent in the arenas and baseball. Ashley could never walk, but she danced. As she was two and a half, she began Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley began to develop a love of dancing when she began the Baby Ballet. Ashley continued to compete through high school graduation, at the top levels of competitions, such as tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Hip Hop, and much more. The top soloist at important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, were all awarded to Ashley.
