Coleman was born in the town of Blackpool in Lancashire. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she was able to get straight As in her A-levels. When discussing her character on Emmerdale, Coleman said that she regrets that she did not have a traditional University education. Coleman performed as Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival with a company named In Yer Space, which she performed in when she was in school. The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman was set to as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat selected her for the role because she worked well with Smith and could talk faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She has been active in the business since 1987 and has appeared in various TV shows and films. She has been much more visible on television than in films. Eva has had many TV characters, however her roles as Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children' and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out.
