Coleman is a Lancashire native. She graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she scored straight A's for the A-levels she took. She regrets that she didn't receive a standard schooling when talking about her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman, while still in the high school system, was part of a theatre group called In Yer Space. They performed the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. Her performance was rewarded with a prestigious award, and the production received favorable reviews. Coleman, who was looking to audition for drama college in 2005, landed Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman won two awards in 2007. She was named Best Newcomer at the British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2009, she received nominations for two categories including Best Actress-Sexiest Female as well as Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was awarded the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat made it clear at a press conference that Coleman was set to as the Doctor's companion along with Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat picked her for the role due to her ability to work with Smith as well as the fact that she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the field of film since 1987. The most popular of her work is her work on television than in films. Eva has played a variety of TV parts, however her roles as Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children as well as Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The first role she played on TV earned her 2 Daytime Emmy nominations, and allowed her to develop her love for music. Eva is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and the philanthropist. Her third husband is father of her daughter.
