Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th in 1967. Roberts belongs to four generations of the Robertses that reside in the Atlanta area, starting in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Early in his life, her dad became fascinated with theatre. As in school at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in Air Force. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their son, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the military and Walter was enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was hired as a technician by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for kids named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. It was a venture they self-financed. The following year, they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) and Julia (also also known as Julie) in this time.
